  I came up with a new and creative keyring design earlier today. In fact, another idea related to keyring designs came into existence today. I will write about this design in a few days or so.   I am glad to have this Google blogger blog/site as my eportfolio. I have sentimental reasons for using this platform to act as my eportfolio. I came back to live in the UK in 2006. Google blogger was my first blog way back in 2007. I will showcase my Wordpress websites, my Google sites websites and my Google blogger sites, plus my Wix website in this blog. 

  Here is the Qr code for this blog/site. I have taken a photo of the qr code and I have placed it onto my phones. I have named the photo files too as I don't want to confuse it with the other Qr codes that are on my phones. I like using Qr codes as it means that I don't have to give away business cards. Which in turn means that less trees are being killed.

It would have been way too long of a web address to have spelled it all out. That's why I used the acronym instead.   The great thing about e portfolios is the fact that they can be shared through various methods. You can also share your e portfolio link/links via email. Some so called experts say that email is obsolete. I highly doubt this. If you sign up for a new bank account online or you sign up for a website which sells goods online, these websites will always ask for your email address so as to confirm membership of their website. The same applies to signing up for social media accounts. There are countless examples to demonstrate this fact. The other advantage of sharing e portfolio links via email is that many people can be sent the link in one email. 

  In the photo above, you can see one of my DIY wearable chain keyring designs. I have named this particular design, WCK 7 - Wearable chain keyring 7. This design works best on jeans as the clip at the top, fits onto the jeans belt loop. The keyring part can go into your pocket. There are similar designs on the market. However, WCK 7 is unique in that the end part is something I came up with. It's a neodymium pot magnet with a 1/4 inch neodymium rod magnet placed on the end of the pot magnet, with a nut surrounding the rod magnet. Keys would stick onto the magnet.   In the photo above, you can see an example of paper based portfolios. Paper based portfolios are bad for the environment as we're killing more trees and they take up physical space. E portfolios can include websites, blogs, PDF files, video files etc. I would think that a PDF file could be thought of as an eportfolio. For example, you could place links to your portfolio work into the PDF and this file could be placed onto Google drive or some other similar sort of cloud storage product. The link to the pdf can then be shared easily via email etc. I have a few Google sites websites. I have embedded quite a few of my pdf files onto my Google sites websites.
